The Flag Day celebration brought
together Master Gardeners, neighbors,
veterans, and military families from
nearby Fort Campbell. The street was
closed to tra昀케c so guests could explore
the gardens, share gardening ideas,
and enjoy homemade dishes made with
vegetables and herbs from the garden.
The afternoon showed the spirit of
community, patriotism, and hospitality
that de昀椀nes Holmes’ annual garden tour.
For everyone who came, the day was a reminder that the best
gardens grow not just 昀氀owers, but also hope, gratitude, special
memories, and the next generation of gardeners.
